Sinergija 09, one of the biggest IT conferences in region, was held from 17th – 19th November in Belgrade Sava Center.

Sinergija 09, one of the biggest IT conferences in region, was held from 17th – 19th November in Belgrade Sava Center.

Series of lectures was focused on Microsoft new operating system Windows 7, Office 14 as well as the advantages of practical use of virtual infrastructure based Microsoft HyperV technology. There was a second part of this event, business gathering on utilization of Microsoft technologies in daily operations.

In the business part of Sinergija 09, Miodrag Mircetic (Member of Management Board Asseco SEE) held a presentation „Challenges of modern banking“.

During this session, Bojan Ciric, Asseco SEE Principal BI Consultant, presented “Tezauri Basel II”. Serbian banking sector is currently in transition according to the operational plan of introducing Basel II standards, which is mandatory by the NBS. Asseco SEE Business Intelligence portfolio is fully aligned with Basel II which is developed on the Microsoft platform.
