Asseco SEE in Macedonia has announced its active participation in Cisco’s Intercloud ecosystem - a globally connected network of clouds. Architected for the Internet of Everything, Cisco’s Intercloud is designed for high-value application workloads, real-time analytics, “near infinite” scalability and compliance with local data sovereignty laws. Cisco has already announced that leading ICT providers, including Deutsche Telekom, BT, NTT DATA, and Equinix, have declared their support for the Intercloud – the worldwide network of interconnected clouds that Cisco and its partners are rapidly developing to enable a new generation of standardized cloud applications and the proliferation of highly secure hybrid clouds.
Within this initiative Asseco SEE in Macedonia invests in introducing the Cisco's Application Centric Infrastructure ("ACI") and lntercloud Fabric ("ICF") technologies into the marketplace, in order to foster development of its Cloud service offerings.
By joining world’s largest network of clouds of Cisco, Asseco SEE’s will join the most comprehensive and easy-to-provision-and-consume marketplace of cloud services. Hereby Asseco SEE will provide its customers with access to the global Cloud services at local level, and at the same time will provide its own Cloud services on the global market. One of the first services to be provided on the market place by Asseco SEE in Macedonia will be a sovereign and secure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offering, that meets strict data protection standards to business customers throughout the region.
