Protocol on Cooperation signed between Asseco SEE and Fund for Young Talents

The Fund for Young Talents of the Ministry of Youth and Sports has signed a four year Protocol on cooperation with one of the largest IT companies in South-eastern Europe, Asseco SEE.

The Fund for Young Talents of the Ministry of Youth and Sports has signed a four year Protocol on cooperation with one of the largest IT companies in South-eastern Europe, Asseco SEE. The Protocol dedicated to professional development of the best IT students, Fund's scholars, and their professional development throughout internship programmes with possibility of later employment, has been signed by the Minister of Youth and Sports and President of the Fund for Young Talents, Vanja Udovičić, a member of Management Board of Asseco SEE in Serbia Vladan Atanasijević, and Asseco SEE in Serbia HR Manager, Slađana Milenković. This agreement envisages that Asseco, as the regional leader and one of the largest ICT companies in Europe provides its contribution so that the most successful IT students could acquire hands-on knowledge and experience.

"By establishment of cooperation with Asseco, the fellowship holders of the Serbian Government’s Fund for Young Talents, shall be given a chance for internship and work experience which is necessary when seeking a job, and Asseco shall have an opportunity to offer a job to those who prove to be the best,“ Vanja Udovičić, the Minister of Youth and Sports and President of the Fund for Young Talents, said and added that "the experience acquired in one of the leading companies in the definitively leading industry, such as information and communication technologies, shall be very important for our students."

“By the means of constant cooperation and contacts with students and graduates of technical faculties in Serbia, we wish to help these young people in terms of their career development in the area of information and communication technologies within our country, considering that this field is very perspective for young people’s development,“ Vladan Atanasijević, a Management Board member of Asseco SEE in Serbia said and added that "the cooperation which we establish today with the Fund for Young Talents is very important for Asseco, as it is our chance to connect and cooperate with the best students.“

The Protocol has also been signed by Slađana Milenković, HR Manager of Asseco SEE in Serbia. “This is only one of several Asseco projects supporting talented students and aiming to provide them with professional development and orientation. Asseco advocates a proactive approach of domestic economy towards students of technical faculties, as well as towards professions which are greatly demanded abroad. Therefore the goal of this agreement is to provide these young talents with an opportunity to make a successful business career in Serbia.“
