ASEE Acquired Majority Stake in Chip Card Processing Company
In March 2016 ASEE concluded the purchase of the 53.8% of company Chip Card located in Belgrade, Serbia.
Chip Card is a company providing payment card transaction processing with over 50 million transactions annually. Their customers are banks who are issuing and acquiring VISA, MsterCard and DINA, local cards.
“By this acquisition ASEE is diversifying its portfolio and is able to offer end to end solutions in payment eco system. Our goal is to grow this business and offer payment processing in the SEE region and outside“ – commented Piotr Jeleński, Asseco SEE Group President and CEO.
