UniCredit Tiriac Bank released enhanced version mobile banking application, offering innovative design and user experience and adding new functions by which its clients can control their banking directly from their mobile phones.

UniCredit Tiriac Bank released enhanced version mobile banking application, offering innovative design and user experience and adding new functions by which its clients can control their banking directly from their mobile phones. According to Petrisor Costin, Products & Segments Director, First Vice President UniCredit Tiriac Bank, the service users can pay their bills (Vodafone, Orange, Romtelecom, RDS&RCS, GDF Suez, Enel Muntenia) from wherever they are, in a very short time, using their smartphone or a tablet.

“Clients can also make fast payments using the interactive search, to ask for banking products such as loans or credit cards and create their own deposits. Besides, they can find out very easy which is the closest bank branch or ATM, using the map,” said Petrisor during a press conference. The new options add to the already present functions of the first version of the app Mobile Banking, launched by UniCredit Tiriac Bank in September 2012.

Mobile banking enhancement in UniCredit Tiriac is part of UniCredit CEE Group project which covers 7 UniCredit banks in the CEE region. The aim of the Bank was to offer its clients innovative and rich application which utilizes smartphone features and offers simple and engaging customer journey through banking products and services.

Application is fully gesture based, and represents revolution in the mobile banking application world, introducing new navigation logic called „UniCredit m-plane”. „M-plane” is envisioned as 2-D coordinate system code which let users uniquely determine their position in the application and makes user experience more seamless.

The updated version of Mobile Banking is currently available for operation systems Android and iOS, while for autumn it is planned to release new version for tablets. The monthly fee for Mobile Banking is RON 2, but the app can be downloaded for free during the offer for the bank’s products and services.

The application has been developed and implemented by Asseco SEE Croatia, leading IT company in the field of Mobile Banking and Authentication solutions with strong footprint South Eastern Europe region.
