Mario Vekić is Croatian rower that qualified himself for the Olympic Games that will take place in London from July 27th until August 12th, 2012.

Mario was born on December 27th, 1982 in Osijek, Croatia. He began rowing in 1996 and today is a sports person of the first category. For 12 years Mario is a steady member of Croatian rowing team and multiple Croatian champion in Men’s Single Sculls, Men’s Pair, Men’s Four and Men’s Eight disciplines. In 2008 he participated at the Olympics in Beijing.
