ITD & EST continue to operate as Asseco SEE

Asseco South Eastern Europe (Asseco SEE), which is part of Asseco Poland SA, the 5th largest European software producer, acquired ITD – İletişim Teknoloji Danışmanlık Ticaret A.Ş. and EST – Elektronik Sanal Ticaret Bilişim Hizmetleri A.Ş. with the agreement signed on 30 July 2010.

Following this acquisition, in accordance with Asseco SEE strategy, ITD and EST have merged into one company named Asseco SEE Teknoloji A.Ş. The group will continue to serve in Turkey with new structure under the name of Asseco SEE Teknoloji A.Ş. with a wider range of product by adding the solutions and products of Asseco SEE to the existing product portfolio.

Asseco SEE is one of the largest IT players in South Eastern Europe in terms of revenue derived from sales of its own software and services. The company focuses on providing solutions for many market segments including financial sector, public administration and industry. Asseco Group intends to consider Turkey as a technology and management base regarding the objective of reaching other regional markets.

ITD and EST, that will operate as Asseco SEE Teknoloji A.Ş. from June 18th, 2011, concluded reorganization process after the merger. New organization of Asseco SEE Teknoloji has been structured as three vertical business units as "Voice Automation Solutions", "Payment Automation Solutions", "Payment Gateway" and support units as finance / accounting, human resources and marketing. Following the reorganization Coşkun Ural appointed as Chairman of the Board of Asseco SEE Teknoloji A.Ş. and Payment Gateway Business Unit Manager, Hatice Ayas as Country Manager, Türker Erkin as Voice Automation Solutions Business Unit Manager and Osman Özdemir as Payment Automation Solutions Business Unit Manager.

As part of Asseco Group employing over 13.500 people and part of Asseco SEE operating in 12 different countries employing more than 1200 people, Asseco SEE Teknoloji A.Ş, will continue to increase its success in Turkey while transferring its experience and know-how to the new countries and markets in Europe where Asseco is active.
