Spanish IT Company RAXON joins Asseco family. Asseco South Western Europe (Asseco SWE) begins expansion in the region.

On February 27th Asseco Poland signed an agreement for acquisition of 55% of shares in the leading Spanish IT company – RAXON Informatica based in Madrid. The total value of the transaction amounted to EUR 15,400,000. The purchase of shares was financed with cash.

RAXON Informatica is a leader of RAXON capital group. The corporate group, based in Madrid, Zaragoza and Barcelona is formed by: Raxon Informática, Raxon Information Technology Services, Promociones Informáticas Seisdosmil and Renting 2006. RAXON capital group is focused on Integrated Technology Solutions such as: Human Resources Outsourcing qualified assembly and integration of technology platforms, Engineering Infrastructure, Systems, Network and Security Solutions and Human Resources Solutions as Renting salary Flexible Solutions. Among the company’s clients are: Telefonica Hewlett Packard, Ericsson, Hyatt Corporation, Banko Santander Central Hispano, Pfizer, Benesto – Banco Espanol de Credito, Bank of America, Dell Computer, Toyota, Vodafone.

Purchaising the company RAXON Informatica is the beginning of building the strong regional capital group operating in South West Europe. Asseco SWE will be present in Spain, Portugal, France and Italy.

As the future President of Asseco South Western Europe, Jose Antonio Pinilla puts it: "The benefits of the deal are clear about synergies and opportunities, is a Win-Win operation for both groups since our products, services and business strategies fit to the perfection. We can deepen relationships with our clients, with a range of new solutions with high added value that will offer business opportunities appellant very interesting". This ambitious project will drive about 500 jobs through the planned investment of more than 50 million Euros.
