First Contactless Payment Solution in the Region

In last quarter of 2008, Asseco SEE in Serbia closed the deal with Banca Intesa a.d. Belgrade for Wincor Nixdorf ATM delivery, EFT POS terminals delivery and implementation of the first contactless payment solution in the region.

In last quarter of 2008, Asseco SEE in Serbia closed the deal with Banca Intesa a.d. Belgrade for Wincor Nixdorf ATM delivery, EFT POS terminals delivery and implementation of the first contactless payment solution in the region.

The deal consists of 15 pieces Wincor Nixdorf ATMs ProCash 2050xe, mobile Hypercom POS terminals with PinPads and 150 pieces of O.T.I. Contactless card readers, SATURN 6000.

By delivering ATMs and POS terminals Asseco SEE expanded current network of Banks card payment infrastructure. In addition of signing a contract of delivery with Bank, the number of ATMs and POS terminals company maintainance is also expanded. Asseco SEE is especially proud that, by reacting on Bank request, they could establish infrastructure and all technical conditions for first contactless Maestro®PayPass™ technology which enables fastest payment in a very safe and simple way. Asseco SEE once again confirmed the leading position as service provider in payment card business and continued to follow up technical requests of fast expanding region.
