Expanding ASEE and Payten Business

A message from Piotr Jeleński

Last period was intense in implementation of our PSD2 solution within which Asseco SEE as a vendor and partner has successfully completed 7 projects already, as well as SEPA Credit Transfer projects in B&H. Supporting omnichannel banking efforts, we proceed with deployment of our Digital Edge platform, which is very important in our digital strategy, in cooperation with the NLB Group. Instant payments projects, which will enable QR code payments at merchants from a tech perspective, continued to contribute to our growth as well as Adaptive Elements platform enabling rapid development of native mobile applications recently implemented at Unicredit Serbia. Our activities also focused on further developments in Digical project run for Intesa including Privredna banka in Croatia, and other undertakings that enhance business operations of our clients.

I am also very pleased that we have completed a number of interesting acquisitions within our payment business recently. We joined forces with Bassilichi CEE, a company offering POS and ATM related services in Serbia and Bosnia & Herzegovina. We purchased 100% shares of Sonet, a company which operates in the Czech Republic and Slovakia offering services in the field of payment technologies (POS RS), by which we expand our business beyond the SEE region. In Turkey we bought Mobven, a mobile technology company, strengthening Payten position in mobile payments technology whereas in Montenegro we acquired B-Services, a firm providing POS related services. All this together with the purchase of Necomplus in the beginning of this year is a result of our long-term strategy to grow payment business both organically and by acquisitions in order to enrich Payten product portfolio, expertise and territories. I am confident that with a broader, more complete offer we will be able to meet and even exceed clients’ expectations and respond to market trends.

You can read about some of the companies which have just joined Payten, as well as find the stories on Asseco SEE & Payten expertise and recent projects in more details in the current issue of the newsletter.
