Asseco SEE certified new ACS release with EMV® 3-D Secure v2.2

We are proud to announce that Asseco SEE completed EMVCo compliance testing and received a new EMVCo Letter of Approval for the TriDES2 Access Control Server. This recent certification proves that newly released ACS version 2.0 is aligned with the newest EMV® 3-D Secure v2.2 standard.

New version of ACS brings notable features and mechanisms which can additionally strengthen online payment security, improve end-user experience, reduce abandonment rate and fasten secure online payments.

Here are some of the most interesting features:

  1. Merchant white list managed by end-user enables them to add or remove a preferable and trusted merchant to the white list. This enables end-user to skip Strong Customer Authentication and make faster purchases in a more convenient way at the next transaction.
  2. Add-on for Asseco ACS Risk scoring - risk assessment provided by card schemes can be taken into account in making the final issuers ‘decision about SCA or frictionless flow. Those data from trusted sources such as MasterCard will additionally improve transaction risk assessment and make issuing banks more confident in granting frictionless transactions.
  3. With supported Decoupled Authentication, along with offering additional authentication method, issuing banks will be able to rely on trusted third parties in authenticating cardholders when paying monthly bills, installments and recurrent payment. Decoupled authentication enables to authenticate end-user when transactions are initiated by merchants which will increase security of such transactions and encourage both merchants and buyers to use it.
