Intesa Sanpaolo Bank becomes the ninth bank in Romania that allows instant payments to another bank. The transfer takes place in 4 seconds, within the limit of 50.000 lei

The new service offered by Intesa Sanpaolo Bank for individual and corporate customers facilitates fund transfers within 10 seconds of payment initiation and is available 24/7/365 from the Internet Banking application.

This service was implemented through collaboration with ASEE, a partner company with which the bank has a long-standing collaboration in the implementation of software projects that align with Intesa Sanpaolo Bank's digital strategy.

"Intesa Sanpaolo Bank joining the group of banks that have implemented the instant interbank payment service is part of our strategy to digitise the bank's products and services. Through the Instant Payments service, we offer our customers, individuals and economic entities, a new banking experience and a new way of managing their money. The possibility to transfer money, in real time, anytime, including outside normal business hours, in complete security, to other banks in Romania, will soon be the new payment standard. The service is available for payments in lei made through the I@Bank Internet Banking application"- said Dan Sandu, General Manager of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank.

"Extending the core banking solution and internet banking application provided by ASEE to facilitate the generation and processing of instant instructions, in line with TransFond's system rules, was a natural development step to accommodate the current needs of bank customers to access fast financial services, available 24/7, offering immediate transfer of value. Through ASEE's long-standing partnership with Intesa Sanpaolo Bank, we are constantly striving to ensure that the software solutions provided are relevant to the bank's digitization strategy and contribute to the attraction and retention of individual and corporate customers," said Alina Enache, Sales Manager, Banking Business Unit ASEE.
