Asseco South Eastern Europe Group started new year with good results after first quarter

  • Sales revenue amounted to EUR 23.8 million

    • Double-digit sales revenue growth in the Payment business unit – revenue totaling EUR 8.9 million, up 29%
    • Double-digit sales revenue growth in the Banking business unit – revenue reaching EUR 6.8 million, up 12%
    • Double-digit sales revenue growth of own solutions – revenue reaching EUR 15.7 million, up 12%

  • Operating profit amounting to EUR 2.4 million, up 24%
  • Net profit totaling almost EUR 2 million, up 17%
  • Operating profitability amounting to 10%, up 1.9 p.p.
  • Backlog for 2015 reaching EUR 75.9 million, up 8%

Asseco South Eastern Europe Group, (Asseco SEE, ASEE) has announced the first quarter results which are better compared with the same period of the last year and mark a good start of the new year.

Sales revenue after 3 months amounted to EUR 23.8 million compared to EUR 23.7 million in the same period of 2014. The Payment business unit recorded EUR 2 million growth (29%) compared with the first three months of 2014. The growth was recorded both by the Internet payment and physical payment parts of the business. In turn sales revenue of the Banking unit increased by more than EUR 0.7 million (12%) in the first quarter of 2015 compared with the same period of the last year.

Moreover, sales revenue of own solutions increased by 12% from EUR 14 million in the same period of 2014 to EUR 15.7 million after the first quarter of 2015.

Operating profit (EBIT) amounted to EUR 2.4 million, an increase of 24% compared with EUR 1.9 million after 3 months of 2014.

Operating profitability of ASEE Group after 3 months of 2015 amounted to 10%, which is up 1,9 p.p compared with the same period of the last year.

The ASEE Group’s net profit grew by 17% compared to the first quarter of the previous year, reaching almost EUR 2 million after 3 months of 2015.

“This is the fourth quarter in a row when ASEE improves its financial results compared to the same periods of the previous years. Better figures after the first three months of 2015 result from the increase in sales revenues and improved profitability in the Banking business unit. A considerable growth of revenue and the improvement of the results were also recorded in the Payment business unit” - commented Piotr Jeleński, President of the Management Board of Asseco South Eastern Europe S.A.

The company announced backlog value for 2015 amounting to EUR 75.9 million, an increase of 8% compared with the same period of the last year.
