Asseco SEE as one of the Main Partners of the Open Banking Hackathon CEE edition 2020

After last year’s Open Banking Hackathon event, held in Bucharest on the historic date of September 14, when PSD2 went live in Europe, the second edition of this innovation challenge event is being prepared.

The event will be held fully remotely between September 17-20 inviting fintech teams from 10 EU countries (Poland , Romania , Bulgaria ,Hungary, Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Greece) to be part of the challenge to build value creation applications on top of the battle tested Open Banking data aggregation platform provided by Finqware.

Asseco SEE will support this regional event, encouraging banking innovation to increase velocity in the Central and Eastern Europe. Leading banking institutions in the region, fintech associations, innovation communities and startup accelerators from Hungary, Austria Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia will also contribute to the success of this event, as supporting partners.

The event is an opportunity for all players (banks, fintechs, tech companies and regulators)  to collaborate  together in learning how to make things happen. It represents the banks’ chance to stand out among others in digital innovation at the global scale and to serve their local customers. By supporting the path of innovation from lab to market, through events like Open Banking Hackathon CEE Edition, they will accelerate the progress in the financial industry.
