Asseco SEE’s Mobile Banking Solution Implemented in the OTP Banka

OTP m-banking enables simple and fast access to various types of information and making financial transactions with the use of smart phones.

Asseco SEE, the leading IT company in the field of Mobile Banking and Authentication solutions, and the OTP banka Croatia finished successfully the implementation of the ASEBA JiMBa mobile banking solution in the OTP banka. After the implementation of Asseco SEE's solution, the bank's clients have a new application at their disposal, which enables them to make financial and tracking transactions on iOS/iPhone and Android mobile phones.

The ASEBA JiMBa mobile banking solution or the OTP m-banking service offers different functionalities that can be performed anywhere and at any time, independently of working hours of branch offices and without the use of personal computer. Some functionalities of the service are: internal and external payment orders in domestic currency, internal money transfers, saving and updating of templates for payment orders and internal transfers, insight into the balance of savings, credits and shares in investment funds, calculator for exchange rates, deposits and credits, purchase and selling of foreign currencies.

The use of the OTP m-banking application on iOS and Android mobile platforms is highly secure. The application is protected with the personal PIN which is known only to the user of the mobile device. A built-in mobile token provides user security in cases when mobile phones are stolen or lost. PIN and accounts related data are not stored in mobile phones, what guarantees confidentiality of data. The application shuts down automatically after 3 minutes of non-activity and locks up after 3 consecutive entries of a wrong PIN. The OTP m-banking brings some novelties into mobile banking services available on the Croatian market in a form of functionalities which are available prior to log in even to end users who have not activated the application: location services related to the search of ATMs and branch offices in the neighbourhood or by cities, exchange rates and a demo of mobile banking service. Pre-login functionalities are implemented through “bubbles” swipe screens.
