Asseco SEE and Credito Emiliano (Credem) Italy Finished Implementation of SxS/Mobile Token Solution in the Bank
Credem has implemented Asseco’s SEE SxS/Mobile Token solution to secure its Internet and Mobile banking services.
Within the period of 4 months, SxS/Mobile Token was in full production in one of the top 10 Italian banking groups.
Credem has implemented Asseco’s SEE SxS/Mobile Token solution to secure its Internet and Mobile banking services. SxS/Mobile Token has replaced the authentication solution already implemented by one of the leading global players in the field of strong authentication solutions. The Asseco SEE solution implementation brings, among others, two important benefits to Credem:
- Cost savings due to the replacement of hardware tokens with software tokens
- Compliance with the new regulations of Banca d’Italia relating to transaction signing, which is expected to become mandatory
The Credem project is a very important reference for Asseco SEE, since Credem is one of the biggest banks in Italy: they have more than 700,000 Internet banking users and it is expected that more than 500,000 end-users will switch to or start using a mobile token as a method of authentication.
