On September 23rd, Asseco SEE in Serbia organized presentations of EMC solutions for disaster recovery and business continuity planning. More that 50 guests from Serbia and the region participated representing banking, manufacturing and public sector.

Disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP) are processes that help organizations prepare for disruptive events—whether those events might include power failures, IT system crashes, natural disasters, supply chain problems or human factor.

Presented solutions for DR and BCP included EMC RecoverPoint -Continuous Data Protection, Continuous Data Replication and Site Recovery Manager with live demonstrations, following VMware and EMC Avamare overview.

Asseco SEE portfolio of technologies includes RecoverPoint or RecoverPoint/SE installations that protect against data loss resulting from common issues such as server failures, data corruption, software errors, viruses, and end-user errors, as well as from catastrophic events that can bring entire data centers to a standstill.

After the official part of presentation, all guest had opportunity to show sport spirit in bowling contest and to discuss about presented solutions with experts from EMC and Asseco SEE.
