Asseco SEE, Gold Sponsor at EMC Forum, 2014 Edition

This year's edition of the EMC Forum held on October 16, 2014, at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Bucharest, gathered all major EMC’s partners from Romania. Among the key participants was Asseco SEE, as a Gold Sponsor.

This year's edition of the EMC Forum held on October 16, 2014, at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Bucharest, gathered all major EMC’s partners from Romania. Among the key participants was Asseco SEE, as a Gold Sponsor. This level of sponsorship provided Asseco the opportunity to held a booth and also a presentation, a study case about an EMC solution implemented at Volksbank Romania, called "Driving Competitive Advantage Asseco VPLEX for Vmware availability in Volksbank". The presentation was held by Cristian Giurgiu, Presales Manager.  

The topics discussed during the forum focused on how software transforms IT infrastructure, IT becoming "software defined" from "software defined data center" to "defined enterprise software".  

The cooperation between Asseco SEE and EMC has developed rapidly in the past years, in 2013 Asseco Romania being designated EMC Partner of the Year. FAST STARTER.  Shortly after starting the collaboration with EMC, Asseco reached the Premier Partnership level, with Consolidated specialization, the highest level in EMC partnerships. The company currently owns the Service Partner status, awarded to a small number of integrators in Romania market. 

Developing a good collaboration between the two companies resulted in the completion of several successful projects, consisting in the implementation of infrastructure solutions for next-generation data center, storage components, replication and data backup based on EMC technologies.  

The Asseco SEE and EMC partnership translates also in technical certifications awarded to Asseco’s Romania specialists, such as Implementation Engineer - Unified and Block Storage and Implementation Engineer - Replication Solutions as well as system architects, qualified as Technology Architect.
