Asseco SEE Helps Boost Operational Effectiveness at Makedonski Telecom
Asseco SEE in Macedonia has implemented the first phase of the programable LAN network infrastructure based on Cisco’s Software Defined Access (SDA) technology in Makedonski Telekom (MakTel), a Deutsche Telekom (DT) subsidiary and the largest service provider in the country.
The aim of this project is to make building and managing networks faster, easier and with improved business efficiency and flexibility. By decoupling network functions from hardware, SD-Access ensures policy consistency, enables faster launches and significantly reduces problem resolution time and operational expense. Thanks to its long-term cost reduction, centralized management, on-demand provisioning, and network flexibility, the Cisco SD-Access provides operational and strategic advantages over traditional enterprise networks.
MakTel seized the opportunity and adopted this technology as a networking solution for the future use of the state-of-the-art Cisco Catalyst 9000 Series switches. Using SD-Access, the company can now set up and enforce automated access and consistent security policies across the network.
The automation and assurance capabilities of Cisco SD-Access have boosted MakTel’s operational effectiveness by enabling a consistent user experience anywhere without compromise.
A successful project implementation demonstrates the willingness and ability of the Asseco System Integration team in Macedonia to respond to the needs of enterprises to keep up with the latest industry trends, which proves the company's leading position on the market in this segment of business.
