Asseco SEE Officially Joins CEO Alliance for Equality

This week Asseco SEE signed a document on companies’ commitment to advancing equality in business with other members of the CEO Alliance for Equality in Serbia! The official launch of joint activities within the Alliance was marked on March 5 during the Kopaonik Business Forum when the Alliance members announced their dedication and activities on achieving a work environment with equal possibilities and equal pay for equal-value jobs between men and women.

The professional career for everybody, both men and women, should be tailored to their capacities, but also dreams. But reaching out for these dreams is important, and speaking about that, this should be promoted among women because from our observations they are more modest and less inclined to speak about it openly. And we stand behind that” said Piotr Jelenski, Group CEO of Asseco SEE.

The CEO Alliance for Equality is a network of companies which advocate for a higher number of women at leadership and other positions and aim to spread the idea of inclusive culture where both women and men are valued for their unique contributions in business, society, and families. The Alliance results from a joint initiative of IKEA and Association for Female Affirmation (AFA) supported by the Embassy of Sweden in Serbia and joined by Asseco SEE in Serbia, IKEA, Telenor Serbia, Mastercard, Delta Holding, and UniCredit Bank Serbia.
