Asseco SEE (Romania) awarded by IBM Romania

Asseco SEE (Romania) was awarded with „Excellence prize for the most significant IBM storage sales increase in 2009” at the latest „IBM Business Partner Kick-off” event.

Bogdan Mustata, Sales Manager: „Our company has been successfully implementing IBM storage solutions in market segments like banking, insurance, media. We have strong hardware and software competences which enable us to implement complex storage projects on IBM platform. It is a new reconnection and confirmation of high level of sales and technical competences which place Asseco SEE among major IT market players”.

Asseco SEE is „IBM - Business Partner” and has „IBM System Partner” technical level. Also, the company is „IBM hardware support authorized service provider”.

Bogdan Mustata, Sales Manager: „Our partnership with IBM has started in 1990, with RBS (Romanian Business Systems), first IBM dealer in Romania, precursor of local branch. At that moment, we functioned under SCOP`s trade name (one of the first IT companies in Romania, founded in March 1990, which became Net Consulting in 1994 and Asseco SEE in 2009 – System Integration Business Unit). It has been a partnership and cooperation which has been consolidated over the years with excellent business results”.

This kind of cooperation has been part of company’s strategy since the beginning: to offer and promote a portfolio of best products, solutions and services from major IT players, as a warranty of quality, viability and highest performance to our clients”.

Regional group Asseco South Eastern Europe (formed by companies from Balkans, including Romania) has had close relationships with local IBM branches, forming important partnerships.

Asseco SEE (Romania) has been the result of an acquisition and merger process which has started in 2007, when Polish group Asseco (one of the largest in Europe) acquired local companies Net Consulting and FIBa Software. They merged started 1st of January 2010, under Asseco SEE srl trade name. In December 2009, Asseco South Eastern Europe bought another local company Probass, specialized in banking software solutions, being in a merging process with Asseco SEE.
