Asseco SEE was general partner of regional conference about IT industry – IT Arena

Who will catch the planned 1.44 billion HRK government investments in IT in its network and whether those investments will ever be? Are we witnessing the creation of regional IT sphere, and is there need for such? Will the big fish eat the little? How will the IT industry influence on the development of society in the region and the EU? How to adapt to Digital Agenda of EU? How will the IT industry develop in the forthcoming five to ten years? Quo Vadis IT?

The answers to these questions were offered on the IT Arena 2011 by the leading players in IT industry, public sector representatives, investors, analysts, key customers of IT services and influential business people, from the region and EU.

Asseco SEE was general partner of the conference, which was attended by more than 130 participants. In introductory part, Miodrag Mirčetić, member of the Board of Asseco SEE introduced the company to the audience by giving general information about foundation and concept, financial results and Croatian presence. Miodrag Mirčetić also participated in one of conference panels which had a title „Investments & financing in IT sector – how to grow? By overtaking, mergers, organic grow, sale to strategic partner, partners cooperation or...“
