Asseco South Eastern Europe at MEFTEC 2012 – The Financial Technology Market

ASEE participated, from 25 to 26 April 2012, for the second time in MEFTEC 2012 Dubai, UAE The exhibition only in IT for financial technology market in the GCC, having reached the eighth, held in this year at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.

ASEE focused on Mobile and Security Solutions  portfolio ( MASS), presenting Mobile Banking Solutions and Authentication Platform with new features like mobile token and Display Cards products.

Romania was the only country participating in the national flag, where exposed, Romania branded IT - Creative Talent, seven leading Romanian companies in the industry (Asseco South Eastern Europe, Blue Point Consulting, E-Sourcing Know How & Servicies, I know online, Ingenio Software, Lasting Prodinf Software and Software).

During the two-day event, presented the Romanian companies have a fair range of financial and banking solutions, specialized addressing multiple market area, regarded as having great potential.

Romanian companies exhibiting had numerous meetings with specialized companies in the GCC countries, laying the groundwork for potential cooperation in the field. With the support of Dubai BPCE were held business meetings with the Association of Banks in the UAE, Abu Dhabi and a consulting company specialized banking IT problems, Medialogy Consultancy & Studies.

Representatives MECMA, CRPCIS and Information Technology and Communications Association of Romania Romanian companies participating assisted and provided information about business in Romania national pavilion visitors.

International Fair "MEFTEC 2012 Dubai, UAE" was organized by Qatar MICE Development Institute, member of Qatar Foundation, and hosted about 100 companies participating in the host country and from Bahrain, Belgium, Rep. Czech, Egypt, Switzerland, Germany, Greece, Jordan, Ireland, India, Italy, Kuwait, Lebanon, United Kingdom, Morocco, Palestine, Poland, Romania, Syria, Slovenia, USA, Turkey, Hungary. Organizers estimated the number of specialized visitors this year reached about 4800.

Romania's participation in this event was organized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Environment, together with the Romanian Center for Foreign Investment and Trade Promotion and Information Technology and Communications Association of Romania, in accordance with the Export Promotion Program this year, approved by the Export Council.
