Asseco Sponsored Young IT Professionals at Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship

The Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship is a global competition which tests students’ skills on Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The winner of four semi-finals, which were held in four biggest cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, were invited to represent the country in Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship 2018 in Florida, USA.

The competition gathered many participants from more than 130 countries worldwide and Asseco SEE was one of the sponsors of the participants from B&H. Four young students represented Bosnia & Herzegovina, one of them, Sead Smailagić, won the third place in category Excel 2016 and two of them were ninth in their categories.

In this way Asseco shows its willingness to invest in the knowledge and training of youth as a long-term investment into the future of potential IT professionals.
