Optimization of Cash Operations: Erste Bank – IKEA

In partnership with Erste Bank, Asseco SEE enabled optimization of the procedure for daily takings depositing at a newly opened point of sale of IKEA in Belgrade.

The solution deployed is based on the use of self-service ATMs for money acceptance so that daily takings deposited on ATMs at the IKEA facility are placed to the IKEA account in Erste Bank automatically upon depositing.

Through this project, Asseco SEE, together with Erste Bank, continued a long-standing successful cooperation on delivery of similar solutions to merchants in Serbia and the region. By using Asseco SEE’s solution, Erste Bank and IKEA have been the first in Serbia to establish this type of cooperation, which results in considerable savings to both parties, optimization of business operations, and above all, which increases safety due to shorter timeframe during which money is not in the safe deposit box.
